the music

Anneline is a South African Christian instrumentalist creating contemplative music for reflection, prayer and worship. Her music resides in the space where neoclassical piano, ambient textures and cinematic storytelling meet. Rooted in quiet beauty, her compositions unfold with patience, inviting listeners to slow down, reflect and rediscover wonder.

Often drawing inspiration from nature and especially the landscapes of the Western Cape, the resilience of nature and a deep Christian faith, her music explores themes of hope, renewal, and the sacred found in everyday moments. Each piece tells a story - new life emerging after fire, the silence before dawn, the vastness of the ocean, or the quiet rhythms of grace in between life as usual - and grows into an immersive sound journey.

Built around expressive piano, delicate strings, organic textures, and evolving atmospheres, her sound is intimate yet cinematic. Rather than demanding attention, it creates space for reflection, deeper connection, prayer, creativity, and healing.

Gentle melodic motifs, subtle movement, and carefully crafted sound design allow each composition to breathe, rewarding attentive listening while remaining unobtrusive enough for film, documentaries, and visual storytelling.

Whether accompanying a story on screen or offering a quiet soundtrack to personal reflection, her music seeks to remind listeners that beauty often speaks most powerfully in moments of stillness.
